Two branches of the Haliburton County Public Library are under construction and slated to open this year. The building themselves were funded through a provincial infrastructure grant awarded to the respective municipalities. The County Library Board is responsible for providing collections, staffing, operations, computers, and computer furnishings. All shelving and other furnishings are the responsibility of the municipality in which the library sits.

Both Minden Hills and Dysart et al, have active fundraising campaigns going on to enable the library to have proper shelving and furnishings.

To donate you can either go directly to the municipality for which library you want to support or contact the following people:
