Starting on Saturday April 22nd drop by the library to pick up a mystery nightshade seed to take home and try to grow. Prizes will be given to those who germinate their seed, as well as everyone who can ID their plant once it starts to grow. To claim your prize(s), send a photo of your seedling and/or the plant name to programs@haliburtonlibrary.ca. Prizes include seeds and buttons! All photos must be emailed to the library by September 30th. Seeds are available while supplies last. All ages welcome!
