“The Colour of Friendship” is a fun & unique Sock Puppet Show that celebrates our differences and rejoices in the value of our friendships. Following the performance, Shelley King, puppeteer and arts educator, will guide parents and children on a creative and playful journey to create your own, one-of-a-kind “Friendship Puppet”. You’ll learn to bring your puppet to life with puppeteering skills and a bit of joyful improvisation. All materials are provided. Ages 6-12.
This workshop is made possible for the families and children of Haliburton County as the result of donations made in honour and memory of Linda Middleton, an exceptional friend of our community. Linda passed away on September 11, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer, but our memories and gratitude of her generous spirit, creativity, and heartfelt friendships live on.
